Tilde (~) dir is magically created in homedir everytime file dialog is opened in the same dir twice. #1879

Latest versions of palemoon and Trisquel 64b

How to reproduce:

  1. Ctrl + O/S, navigate to homedir, close dialog
  2. Repeat no. 1

~ in homedir is created

'rmdir ~/~' deletes it (that's rmdir /home/user/backslash~)

No. 1, 2 rinse and repeat

Not sure if this is exclusive to homedir...

are you using Pale Moon GTK3 version?
