Continue to improve and maintain SunOS support.
This is a general issue for improving SunOS support. There's a lot of things I keep wanting to do that it probably wouldn't make much sense to create issues for, and I think it would make sense to collect them all here.
- Making ./mach run work reliably without any kind of LD_LIBRARY_PATH hackery, even at the code level.
- Improving detection of the difference between Solaris and Illumos, and having a SunOS build flag for the general case as well as specific flags for Solaris and Illumos that allow them to handle situations differently when necessary.
- Generally getting things in a better state for release, making sure everything is prepared to receive updates, etc.
There will likely be more than this over time, but these are the ones I have in mind as I create the issue.
