Since Windows 10’s default msstyle has a great lack of style on which many widgets are based we need to provide minimal Windows 10 specific style touchups. Since proper Windows Application UX Design is not a priority in Windows 10 and it has progressed well past the initial stylistic sabotage of Windows 8 .. we are justified in some slight divergance from native styling on this target os.

The first thing that was done as a standalone commit was e8be661944 in which we set the toolbox widget -moz-apearance to none so that it would fall back to the -moz-dialog background color instead of the msstyle provided stark white.

The next items I want to do are:

Additional tweaks will be done over time so I am leaving this as a Continuing Progress Meta-type issue.

I had intended to override any menubar to remain stark-white but the variations involved are too numerous to properly do this.

Since Windows 10's default msstyle has a great lack of style on which many widgets are based we need to provide minimal Windows 10 specific style touchups. Since *proper* Windows Application UX Design is not a priority in Windows 10 and it has progressed well past the initial stylistic sabotage of Windows 8 .. we are justified in some slight divergance from native styling on this target os. The first thing that was done as a standalone commit was e8be661944c730cb3b702cd7f7d97e0860eb9132 in which we set the `toolbox` widget `-moz-apearance` to `none` so that it would fall back to the `-moz-dialog` background color instead of the msstyle provided stark white. The next items I want to do are: - [x] Provide a `bottom-border` for `toolbox` - This will impact assumptions in local application styling of adjesent UI elements that will need to be limited to NOT-Windows 10. I will provide patches to that effect for Applications - [x] Provide a `bottom-border` for `treecols` - This will have no known impact for local application styling. - [x] Remove glass from Toolkit Download Manager - [x] Revise Toolkit Error Console Style Additional tweaks will be done over time so I am leaving this as a Continuing Progress Meta-type issue. ---- I had intended to override any menubar to remain stark-white but the variations involved are too numerous to properly do this.
